InnerBuddies

InnerBuddies is a spin-off from the University of Maastricht. Genzai works together with InnerBuddies to provide the ICT and AI background behind the microbiome testing. InnerBuddies provides an at-home microbiome test that is being sold to consumers all across Europe. They can send back their stool sample which is then being analyzed at the laboratoria by using DNA/RNA sequencing. After identifying and counting the bacteria included in the stool sample, the InnerBuddies system analyses the quality of the stool sample and provides personalized dietary advice for the consumer to improve their microbiome.

InnerBuddies also sells its kits through therapists and practitioners and also provides microbiome testing for clinical trials. Its proprietary ICT algorithms are also available for laboratories around the world through its API portal.
